Pope Francis once said, “The Heart of Christ is so immense that it wishes to involve us all in a revolution of tenderness. Being close to the Heart of the Lord urges our own heart to approach our brothers and sisters with love, and helps us join this compassion for the world” (June 2019). Meditating on the Sacred Heart invites us to transform our hearts of stone into hearts like Jesus’. Join us monthly for a short talk, Mass, and a simple lunch as we deepen our understanding and connection to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

In this year's series, we will explore how the Sacred Heart of Jesus has been understood and embraced within the tradition and teachings of the Catholic Church, through a thoughtful study of selected sections from the Catechism of the Catholic Church (CCC).
