ABOUT THE RETREAT
Experiencing God:
Our Interior Movements Explained Using St. Ignatius' Rules
for Discernment and Internal Family Systems
The guided retreat "Experiencing God: Our Interior Movements Explained Using St Ignatius' Rules For Discernment and Internal Family Systems" will use Ignatian Contemplation, imaginative prayer, and senses to engage in conversation with God.
The focus will be on understanding our interiority using the model of Internal Family Systems (IFS) as a means of intimate prayer with God/Jesus/Spirit. We all have parts of us that are sad, joyful, anxious, discouraged, happy, funny, and many more. Having such parts is a natural aspect of adult life, and sharing such interior movements in a familiar way with God/Jesus/Spirit is what Ignatian prayer helps us to do.
Format: Silent with 2 talks a day, 1 didactic and daily mass.
